Admission Policy

Our admission policy conforms to the constitution of our Country which declares the founding values of our society to be “Human dignity, the achievement of quality of all persons”

Since inception the Centre provided its services to all children and adults on a non-discriminating basis specifically irrespective of race, gender, religion or socio-economic status. Within this broad framework the Board of Management reserves the right to give preference to children and adults who are from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and are required to:

(a) Produce an Occupational Therapist’s report to determine the child’s level of development.

(b) Complete an application for admission form which is to be submitted to the Principal/Manager together with an indemnity and agreement form signed by the parent/guardian.

All children and adults complying with the criteria as set out above are given fair opportunity to gain access to the Centre. Refusal of admission is primarily based on resource and capacity considerations. All refusals are accompanied by written documentation outlining the reason(s) for refusal. Where necessary, parents are entitled to consult wit the Board of Management.
